English version | Cosa signica Fanum Fortunae? Perchè ho scelto questo nome?
Volevo un nome che fosse identificativo anche della zona in cui vivo.. cercavo un nome che avesse un significato e, perchè no, che portasse anche bene!
FANUM FORTUNAE è l'antico nome della città di Fano... nome che rimanda al "Tempio della Fortuna", eretto a testimonianza della battaglia del Metauro, dove le legioni romane sbaragliarono l'esercito del generale cartaginese Asdrubale. Era l'anno 207 a.C.
Sebbene le mie prime cucciolate risalgano al 1999 (in collaborazione con Dagmar), e io viva con dei bernesi dal 1998, da oggi, anno 2007, FANUM FORTUNAE diventa anche il nome di un piccolo allevamento di Bernesi ... Speriamo che la Dea Fortuna sia dalla nostra parte!

I wanted a name that was also identifying the zone where I live.. I looked for a name that had a meaning and, why not, that brought also luck!
FANUM FORTUNAE is the old name of Fano.....name that postpones to the “Temple of the fortune” erected as testimony of the battle of the Metauro river, where the Roman legions defeated the army of the Carthaginian general Ausdrubale. It was the year 207 b.C.
