English version | Non si può pensare di trovare un cucciolo di Bernese subito pronto da portare via come se fossimo in un supermercato.
Molto spesso bisogna aspettare che il nostro piccolo raggiunga l'età giusta per lasciare la madre e i fratelli.
In questa attesa, oltre a preparare le cose che gli serviranno (cuccia, ciotole, spazzole, ecc...), possiamo supplire alle nostre carenze cinofile imparando il più possibile sul conto di questa razza, e rispolverando le vecchie regole di educazione che con il nuovo arrivato ci torneranno sicuramente utili (ricordiamo che ogni brutta abitudine appresa da cucciolo diventa difficile da togliere da adulto). A questo scopo invito i neofiti a leggesi qualche buon libro di educazione (appunto), e se ci si sente particolarmente ispirati, anche di psicologia canina. Non dimentichiamo però che nella maggior parte dei casi un po' di "buon senso" è la soluzione ideale!
Evitiamo di farci prendere la mano acquistando cose inutili: vi verrà fornita una breve lista al momento opportuno insieme ad una piccola dispensa che vi sarà certo d'aiuto per occuparvi del vostro Bovaro del Bernese al meglio con tutte le indicazioni necessarie (come il tipo di mangime, la quantità, e altri consigli per la sua crescita...)

It very often needs to wait that our puppy reaches the right age to leave his/her mother and his/her brothers. For the puppy, besides preparing all our puppy will need (dog’s bed, bowls, brushes, etc...) we can overcame our lacks about dogs learning so much possible about this breed and remembering the old education rules that with the new family member will surely be useful (don’t forget that every ugly habit learned by puppy becomes difficult to remove in the adult age). To this purpose I suggest the neophytes to read some good education book (exactly), and if you feels particularly inspired, also a book about dog psychology. Let's not forget however that in the very often a bit of "good sense" is the ideal solution!
We haven’t to exaggerate buying unnecessary things: at the opportune moment a brief list will be furnished together to a leaflet that will certainly be helpful about the best way you can look to your Bernese Mountain dog with all the necessary indications (as the type of food, the quantity and other suggestions for its growth....).
